Jesus Attests That Bowing Down Is For God Alone {Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungered. And when tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and seeth him on pinnacle of the temple. And saith unto him, if thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angles charge concerning thee: and in their hands shall they bear thee up, least at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, it is written again, Thou shall not tempt the Lord thy God. Again the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and showeth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him. All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angles came and ministered unto him.}[Matthew 4:1-11].
From the above, we find many evidences that Jesus was only a slave and worshipper of Allaah:
1. The Holy Ghost, the angel that God sent down with revelation to the Prophets, took Jesus to the desert to teach him on how to disobey Satan and refute him. The Holy Ghost taught Jesus Satan's way of deception so that he can avoid them. Jesus was God or the Son of God, as the Christians claim, why would the Holy Ghost need to teach him how to avoid the ways of Satan? Does the Creator of the heavens and earth need to be taught?
2. Jesus fasted for forty days and forty nights and he got hungry, Does God fast and get hungry? Allaah, the Creator and Sustainer, must be unlimited in means, Allaah said, while refuting that Jesus and his mother were Gods. {The Messiah (Jesus), son of Mary, was no more than a Messenger, many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother (Mary) was believer. They both used to eat food (as any other human being, while Allaah does not eat). Look how we make the Ayat (signs, revelations, etc.) clear to them, yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth).} [5:75].
Whoever needs food is neither a god nor a creator. Allaah is All-Independent of everyone else. Humans who drink and eat will need to use the bathroom. Can we attribute such a thing to Allaah? Are those, who claim that Jesus is God, incapable of having minds to differentiate between God, the Lord and the Creator who is unlimited in means, and between humans who are poor, weak and in need?
3. Satan tested Jesus saying to him, {if thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread} to eat from it after he became hungry, and Jesus replied, {Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every world that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.}
The above means that real life is not sustained by bread alone. Rather, it is also sustained by what revives the soul. Whoever believes in Allaah and impleaments His Commandments, is truly alive. The disbeliever, who lives only to eat, is dead, although he appears alive. Allaah said, what traslated means, {Is he who was dead (without faith by ignorance and disbelief) and We gave him life ( by knowledge and Faith) and set him a Light ( of belief) whereby he can walk among men, like him who is in darkness ( of disbelief and hypocrisy) from which he can never come out:?} [6:122].
They are unequal indeed. Whoever is dead (the disbeliever), then Allaah resurrects him, throught faith, and gives him guidance, light and a religion that differentiates between Halal (permissible) and Haram (impermissible), light and darkness, Shirk (polytheism) and Taw'hid (monotheism) and good and evil. This is not equal to the example of whoever is misguided and led astray, who lives for this life only and who cannot differentiate between Shirk and Taw'hid, light and darkness and good and evil.
4. The "Son of God," that the Bible repeats must be explained according to other versus of the Bible. This term, the "Son of God," was used when talking about Jesus, his followers and all believers in Allaah. The Jews and Christians have all claimed it for themsleves. Allaah said, what translated means, {And (both) the Jews and Christians say: "We are the children of Allaah and His loved ones".} [5:18].
This term has two possible meanings. one is being "Son of God" in terms of being rightly guided and is meant as an honor for the believers. This is what some call "God fathering." The opposite meaning, of this term, is being called " The Son of Satan" or "Childern of Vipers" as the Bible calls some Jews. We all know that they are not descendants of vipers, or Satan. Rather they were called "Sons of Vipers" because of their deceitful way and dangerous posion (their opposition to the true religion). They were called "Children of Satan" for their lies and deceit. To call those, who believe in Allaah, "Sons of Allaah" is to show their righteousness, blessing, impleamenting the religion, obedience, blessings, impementing the religion, obedience to Him and benefiting from the light that He sends down to His Messengers.
The second meaning is of being begotten. Children are a part and some of their parents. There is no doubt, to those who enjoy sound minds. belief, knowledge and who know the difference between the Creator and creation, that this meaning is false. One cannot attribute such a thing to God (Allaah), all praise be to Him. There is no blood, or parent-son, relationship between Allaah and any of His creation, Allaah is All-Independent from such a thing. This term, "Son of God," is used to show the honor of those who believed in Allaah. They are the "Sons of Allaah" in terms of their belief, revering Allaah and loving Him. This term, "Son", is also used to confirm blood relations. To decide which of the above two meanings is valid, one must use what is always used to describe a matter and shun the meaning that is vague. What is vague must be explained according to what is clear and evident. This meaning will not be disputed by those who know the language or those who have sane minds.
Following are many proofs, from the Bible, and books of the Apostles, that "the Son of God" is given to show one's honor, reverence, high position and love, because of hi believing in God. These proofs are evidence to the fact that blood relations, or begetting, are not meant by the above term.
Satan repeatedly says, "If thou be the Son of God..." this means "honorary Son of God." Jesus said to his Disciples, {Pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven}. [Matt. 5:44-45]. He also said, {But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to the Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly} [Matt. 6:6].
The above meaning is repeated many times in the words that are attributed to Jesus. All these text mean that "the Father" is the one who teaches, guides and protects His believing slaves. They do not mean fatherhood in the manner of blood relation. Allaah is praised in that this in not true of Him.
5. Satan said to Jesus, {If thou be the Son of God, cast thy self down: for it is written, He shall give his angles charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, it is written again, Thou shalt not temp the Lord thy God.} [Matt. 4:6-7].
In the above, text Jesus confirms what God said concerning him, which Satan quoted. If Jesus, himself, is meant by what God said, then how can he be God, or the Son of God, as the Christians claim? They claim that Jesus' actions and attributes are those of God. How, then can Satan say to Jesus, {And He shall give his angles charge concerning you?}. Does God need to be taken care of and protected by the angles, so that his feet will not be dashed against a stone? Is not the one who needs protection of the angles from falling down but a slave, powerless, humble and in need?
6. Jesus said to Satan, {It is written again, thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God}. This text is one of the major proofs that Jesus believed that God (Allaah) is his Lord and God. Jesus did not want to tempt his Lord, to see if God could help him. I Jesus was God, then, who is he going to tempt? Is he tempting his Father, to know if He is going to protect him from stones? Is he tempting himself, to see if he can protect himself if he fell from the top of the temple? Truly, the worst kind of minds are those that read but do not comprehend.
The above is clear evidence that Jesus confirms that Allaah, alone, is the Lord and God, the One who has All Power and Ability, not Jesus.
7. After Satan showed Jesus all the kingdoms of the world, he asked Jesus to bow down to him. Satan said, {All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me}. Jesus replied by saying, {Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve}. This text refutes the false Christian belief, in jesus being a God:
(a) Satan showed, and then offered, Jesus the kingdoms of the world. If Jesus was God, or the Son of God, he will say to Satan, "I own them (all the kingdoms of earth). I created them. They are mine and under my control." Satan would not have dared to say to God, "I will give you all this if you fall down for me."
(b) Satan ordered God, the Creator and owner of the heavens and earth, to bow down for him! Do not the Christians feel shame when they read that Jesus, their claimed God, is accompanied by and tempted to worship Satan in return for God owning the world's kingdoms?
(c) If Jesus was God, or the Son of God, he would not have answered such an outrageous offer from Satan, by quoting books of previous Messengers: {Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve}. Is there more plain and clear evidence that Jesus was calling for the worship of God, the Creator of the heavens and earth, and that he was worshipping and bowing down to Allaah, Alone, all praise be to Him?
The above is enough evidence that Jesus came to say what Allaah has informed us about him, {And the Messiah (Jesus) said: "O Children of Israel! Worship Allaah my Lord and your Lord." Verliy, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allaah, then Allaah has forbidden Paradise for him, and Fire will be his abode. And for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers) there are no helpers.} [5:72].
(d) Satan gave up on Jesus and left. Satan's inability to tempt Jesus is considered an acceptance of what Mary's mother asked of Allaah, which is stated in the Qur'aan, {She said:"O my Lord! I have delivered a female child" and Allaah know better what she delivered "And the male is not like the female, and I have named her Mary, and I seek refuge with you (Allaah) for her and for her offspring from Satan, the outcast."} [3:36].
Mary's offspring is Jesus, the slave and Messenger of Allaah. Allaah protected him from Satan, from his birth and through adulthood, and so Allaah's word in the Qur'aan came true.
8. The Bible said, {Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angles came and ministered unto him}. This is another proof that Jesus was a slave (of Allaah). Whoever needs to be ministered is a slave who is poor and in need. The angles came by the order of Allaah, not Jesus, to minister Jesus. They did not come to worship him. Allaah is worshipped, and not ministered, by the angles. Allaah is the Ever-Living, the Capable who sustains everything else. The angles need God, and are poor without Him, but Allaah is the Most Rich, all praise be to Him.
