A question to a christian and the answer that indicates the wrong dogma of them;
Can the Bible be wrong within christian dogma?
The Bible is the word of God, through the accounts of man.
Man is flawed.
Doesn't it stand to reason that the Bible, too, can be wrong?
It even mentions the punishments for altering the word of God, doesn't that tell you that God not only saw this possibility but anticipated it?

Also, of all the variants of the Bible, what makes you so certain that yours is the true version?
*~Empty Tomb~* will you are spot on about the thought experiment begging the question. However, it was not mine. Your counter argument is an equivocation fallacy. Your proposed argument, was not my argument.
Sun, can you not see the flaw of arguing the soundness of the Bible by using the Bible to answer the purposed dilemma?
It's circular logic.
You need to present content outside the Bible to validate it.

yes man is flawed and yes man does make mistakes
the second is the fact that the bible may have some inaccuracies but what historical book doest
the third is that the bible may or may not be wrong but more so the interpretations of the men who used the bible to create chrystendom
cause mans own reason to a great degree is flawed thats y we have education and the ability to learn, to question, to reason things out.
the fourth thing is any punishments of any kind were more than likely written in the old testament and especially not meant for those of the New covenant to follow.
and finally im not sure that mine is certainly the right one im always interested in someone else's interpretation based upon another edited version
i like the one i use cause i can understand it and it give me hints of one way to look at it and other ways to possibly to begin to look at the scriptures and investigate on my own.
that bible is the Catholic Youth Bible NRSV
i mean each edited version of the bible coincide with a branch of Christianity each fits to how each group of people thinks.
and if not engaged and questioned like everything else in life just following the fold can be very dangerous as well........
