Introduction: We must first of all know that the entire Bible is corrupted and unreliable and is mostly filled with man-made laws and corruption!  GOD Almighty Said: "`How can you say, "We [the Jews] are wise, for we have the law of the LORD," when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?' (From the NIV Bible, Jeremiah 8:8)"

The Revised Standard Version makes it even clearer: "How can you say, 'We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us'? But, behold, the false pen of the scribes has made it into a lie(From the RSV Bible, Jeremiah 8:8)"

In either translation, we clearly see that the Jews had so much corrupted the Bible with their man-made cultural laws, that they had turned the Bible into a lie!

See Also Deuteronomy 31:25-29 where Moses peace be upon him predicted the corruption/tampering of the Law (Bible) after his death.

The Book of Moses predicted that the Law (Bible) will get corrupted.  The Book of Jeremiah which came approximately 826 years after did indeed confirm this corruption.

The Bible does not prefer for women to be born, but Islam does:

Before we start, it is important for the reader to know that the entire Bible had been corrupted and is filled with man's alterations as clearly shown in the introduction above.   Please visit Contradictions and Proofs of Historical Corruptions in the Bible for more details and proofs.

Let us look at what the Bible and the Noble Quran say about females and their birth in general:

In the Bible:

New born baby girls cause double the pollution to the mother than the new born baby boys:

"Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a MALE child: then she shall be unclean SEVEN DAYS; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean. And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised. And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying THIRTY THREE days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled. But if she bear a FEMALE child, then she shall be unclean TWO WEEKS, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying SIXTY SIX days.  (From the NIV Bible, Leviticus 12:2-5)"

In the Roman Catholic Bible:  "....and the birth of ANY daughter is a loss.  (From the New Jerusalem Bible, Ecclesiasticus 22:3)"

Please visit Women in Christianity and Islam for more verses and details.

In Islam:

The Prophet peace be upon him said:  Narrated AbuSa'id al-Khudri: "The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: If anyone cares for three daughters, disciplines them, marries them, and does good to them, he will go to Paradise.  (Translation of Sunan abu Dawud, Book 41, General Behavior (Kitab Al-Adab), Number 5128)"

"When news is brought to one of them, of (the birth of) a female (child), his face darkens, and he is filled with inward grief!  With shame does he hide himself from his people, Because of the bad news He has had!  Shall he retain it On (sufferance and) contempt, Or bury it in the dust?  Ah! what an evil (choice) They decide on?  (The Noble Quran, 16:58-59)"

"O ye who believe! Ye are forbidden to inherit women against their will. Nor should ye treat them with harshness, that ye may take away part of the dower [money given by the husband to the wife for the marriage contract] ye have given them, except where they have been guilty of open lewdness; on the contrary live with them on a footing of kindness and equity. If ye take a dislike to them it may be that ye dislike a thing, and God brings about through it a great deal of good.  (The Noble Quran, 4:19)"

There are a lot more Noble Verses that I can present, but I think the above ones are sufficient enough.  Please visit Liberation of women in Islam and Is there equality between men and women in Islam? for more details.

As you can see, Allah Almighty honors the birth of females.   He doesn't say nonsense such as "A birth of any female is a loss", or "A birth of any female causes double the pollution", etc....  Allah Almighty honors all of His creation and treats them with equality and justice.

Certainly, men and women were created in the best of moulds:

"We have indeed created man In the best of moulds.  (The Noble Quran, 95:4)"

Note:   The Arabic word for "man" in the Noble Verse is "insan", which literally mean "mankind".  "man" as in male man means "rajul" in Arabic.  The English translation of "insan" in this Noble Verse as "man" was meant to include both men and women.   "man" in English can also mean "mankind".

The better and more accurate translation to the Noble Verse should've been as follows:

"We have indeed created mankind In the best moulds.  (The Noble Quran, 95:4)"

Anyway, as we clearly see in Noble Verse 95:4, women are created in a beautiful and honorable fashion.  Unlike in the corrupted Bible, Allah Almighty in Islam certainly has a great honor for women.
