Do the Ten Commandments, especially the "do not covet" part, exist in the Noble Quran?

Note:  Below you will see a listing of the Great 10 Commandments in both the Bible and the Noble Quran.

I was asked this question a Muslim brother.  It is very important for Muslims to know that the Great Ten Commandments of the Mosaic Law, which had been horribly compromised in the Bible by its own Prophets, do exist and are honored in the Noble Quran.

Here is a listing compromises of the Ten Commandments by by the Bible's Prophets:

  • Is Muhammad a true Prophet? - On the topic of Sexual Immorality.

    1.
Women as war booties in the Bible.
    2. Coveting the neighbor's wife and another man's wife.
    3. Judah and the prostitute. No punishment!
    4. Lot's offering of his daughters as prostitutes!
    5. Favoritism to Lot over the innocent children!
    6. David committed Covet, Adultery and Murder!
    7. David's selective murder to a news-telling messenger was never condemned!
    8. Jesus too broke the Mosaic Law!
    9. Prophet Muhammad and Aisha.
    10. Young girls married off to much older men in the Bible.
    11. Moses and his men raped 3-year old slave girls!
    12. Digital Defloration to virgins in the Bible.
Fingers inserted into virgins' vaginas before marriage in the Bible!

  •

In actuality, there are far more than the Great 10 Commandments in the Bible.  But the following 10 became very common and popular among people.  But in reality there are far more Commandments that exist in both the Bible and the Noble Quran.

Some Biblical Laws got abrogated in Islam:

It is important to know that not every Law in the Bible is followed in Islam.   Some got abrogated.  For instance, the Bible punishes to death anyone who (1) Profanes the Holy and Divine Name of GOD Almighty; (2) who breaks the Sabbath; (3) Who curses his any of his parents:

"And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the Lord, shall be put to death.  (Leviticus 24:16)"

"Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.  (Exodus 31:14)"

"And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death.  (Exodus 21:17)"

While Islam doesn't have Punishments of execution for the violations above, but the Noble Quran does make it quite clear that these violations, and many others, are grave sins, with the exception of the Sabbath, because we don't really have a Sabbath.  The Jewish Sabbath, however, was mentioned in the Noble Quran.  See the Noble Verses in the list below.

Here are the Noble Quran's Great Ten Commandments:

The Bible's Ten Commandments The Noble Quran's Ten Commandments
1-  "Thou shalt have no other gods before me.  (From the KJV Bible, Exodus 20:3)" "Abraham was not a Jew nor yet a Christian; but he was true in Faith, and bowed his will to God's (Which is Islam), and he joined not gods with God.  (The Noble Quran, 3:67)"

"God forgiveth not (The sin of) joining other gods with Him; but He forgiveth whom He pleaseth other sins than this: one who joins other gods with God, Hath strayed far, far away (from the right).  (The Noble Quran, 4:116)"

"Say: He is God, the One and Only; God, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him.  (The Noble Quran, 112:1-4)"

"Lo! Abraham said to his father Azar: "Takest thou idols for gods? For I see thee and thy people in manifest error."   (The Noble Quran, 6:74)"

"Follow what thou art taught by inspiration from thy Lord: there is no god but He: and turn aside from those who join gods with God.  (The Noble Quran, 6:106)"

    etc...

The following Noble Verses were sent to me by brother Bassam Zawadi:

"Know, therefore, that there is no god but God, and ask forgiveness for thy fault, and for the men and women who believe: for God knows how ye move about and how ye dwell in your homes.  (The Noble Quran, 47:19)"

"And He is God: There is no god but He. To Him be praise, at the first and at the last: for Him is the Command, and to Him shall ye (all) be brought back.  (The Noble Quran, 28:70)"

"(He is) the Creator of the heavens and the earth: He has made for you pairs from among yourselves, and pairs among cattle: by this means does He multiply you: there is nothing whatever like unto Him, and He is the One that hears and sees (all things).  (The Noble Quran, 42:11)"

"No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision: He is above all comprehension, yet is acquainted with all things.   (The Noble Quran, 6:103)"

"Remember Abraham said: "O my Lord! make this city one of peace and security: and preserve me and my sons from worshipping idols.   (The Noble Quran, 14:35)"

2-  "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.  Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;   (From the KJV Bible, Exodus 20:4-5)"

    See the Noble Verses above.

3-  "Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.  (From the KJV Bible, Exodus 20:7)"

"Revile not ye those whom they call upon besides God, lest they out of spite revile God in their ignorance. Thus have We made alluring to each people its own doings. In the end will they return to their Lord, and We shall then tell them the truth of all that they did.  (The Noble Quran, 6:108)"

"The most beautiful names belong to God: so call on him by them; but shun such men as use profanity in his names: for what they do, they will soon be requited.  (The Noble Quran, 7:180)"

"Already has He sent you Word in the Book, that when ye hear the signs of God held in defiance and ridicule, ye are not to sit with them unless they turn to a different theme: if ye did, ye would be like them. For God will collect the hypocrites and those who defy faith - all in Hell:-  (The Noble Quran, 4:140)"

"When thou seest men engaged in vain discourse about Our signs, turn away from them unless they turn to a different theme. If Satan ever makes thee forget, then after recollection, sit not thou in the company of those who do wrong.  (The Noble Quran, 6:68)"

"And make not God's (name) an excuse in your oaths against doing good, or acting rightly, or making peace between persons; for God is One Who heareth and knoweth all things.  (The Noble Quran, 2:224)"

"God! there is no god but He! To Him belong the most Beautiful Names.  (The Noble Quran, 20:8)"

"He is God, the Creator, the Evolver, the Bestower of Forms (or Colours). To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names: whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare His Praises and Glory: and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.  (The Noble Quran, 59:24)"

They are 99 Holy Names and Attributes.

4-  "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.  (From the KJV Bible, Exodus20:8)"

"And well ye knew those amongst you who transgressed in the matter of the Sabbath: We said to them: "Be ye apes, despised and rejected."  (The Noble Quran, 2:65)"

By the way, the Bible supports this Divine Claim.

"O ye People of the Book! believe in what We have (now) revealed, confirming what was (already) with you, before We change the face and fame of some (of you) beyond all recognition, and turn them hindwards, or curse them as We cursed the Sabbath-breakers, for the decision of God Must be carried out.   (The Noble Quran, 4:47)"

"And for their covenant we raised over them (the towering height) of Mount (Sinai); and (on another occasion) we said: "Enter the gate with humility"; and (once again) we commanded them: "Transgress not in the matter of the sabbath." And we took from them a solemn covenant.  (The Noble Quran, 4:154)"

"Ask them concerning the town standing close by the sea. Behold! they transgressed in the matter of the Sabbath. For on the day of their Sabbath their fish did come to them, openly holding up their heads, but on the day they had no Sabbath, they came not: thus did We make a trial of them, for they were given to transgression.  (The Noble Quran, 7:163)"

"The Sabbath was only made (strict) for those who disagreed (as to its observance); But God will judge between them on the Day of Judgment, as to their differences.  (The Noble Quran, 16:124)"

    The Muslims Friday:

"O ye who believe! When the call is proclaimed to prayer on Friday (the Day of Assembly), hasten earnestly to the Remembrance of God, and leave off business (and traffic): That is best for you if ye but knew!  (The Noble Quran, 62:9)"

5-   "Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.  (From the KJV Bible, Exodus 20:12)"

"Thy Lord hath decreed that ye worship none but Him, and that ye be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in thy life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honour. And, out of kindness, lower to them the wing of humility, and say: "My Lord! bestow on them thy Mercy even as they cherished me in childhood."  (The Noble Quran, 17:23-24)"

"We have enjoined on man kindness to parents: but if they (either of them) strive (to force) thee to join with Me (in worship) anything of which thou hast no knowledge, obey them not. Ye have (all) to return to me, and I will tell you (the truth) of all that ye did.  (The Noble Quran, 29:8)"

"And We have enjoined on man (to be good) to his parents: in travail upon travail did his mother bear him, and in years twain was his weaning: (hear the command), "Show gratitude to Me and to thy parents: to Me is (thy final) Goal.  (The Noble Quran, 31:14)"

"We have enjoined on man kindness to his parents: In pain did his mother bear him, and in pain did she give him birth. The carrying of the (child) to his weaning is (a period of) thirty months. At length, when he reaches the age of full strength and attains forty years, he says, "O my Lord! Grant me that I may be grateful for Thy favour which Thou has bestowed upon me, and upon both my parents, and that I may work righteousness such as Thou mayest approve; and be gracious to me in my issue. Truly have I turned to Thee and truly do I bow (to Thee) in Islam."   (The Noble Quran, 46:15)"

"And remember We took a covenant from the Children of Israel (to this effect): Worship none but God; treat with kindness your parents and kindred, and orphans and those in need; speak fair to the people; be steadfast in prayer; and practise regular charity. Then did ye turn back, except a few among you, and ye backslide (even now).  (The Noble Quran, 2:83)"

6-   "Thou shalt not kill (or murder).  (From the KJV Bible, Exodus 20:13)"

Noble Verse 17:33 was sent to me by brother Bassam Zawadi:

"Nor take life - which God has made sacred - except for just cause. And if anyone is slain wrongfully, we have given his heir authority (to demand qisas or to forgive): but let him nor exceed bounds in the matter of taking life; for he is helped (by the Law).  (The Noble Quran, 17:33)"

"On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our apostles with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land.  (The Noble Quran, 5:32)"

    Notice the following parts:

    1-  "...except for just cause..."

2-  "...unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land..."

They clearly prove that Allah Almighty definitely prohibits murder.  Unjust killing of an innocent person is equivalent to terrorism and mass-slaughter (killing all or most people).

"Fight in the cause of God those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for God loveth not transgressors.
    (The Noble Quran, 2:190)"

"But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in God: for He is One that heareth and knoweth (all things).  (The Noble Quran, 8:61)

7-   "Thou shalt not commit adultery.  (From the KJV Bible, Exodus 20:14)"

"Nor come nigh to adultery: for it is a shameful (deed) and an evil, opening the road (to other evils).  (The Noble Quran, 17:32)"

"The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication,- flog each of them with a hundred stripes: Let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by God, if ye believe in God and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment.  (The Noble Quran, 24:2)"

"Let no man guilty of adultery or fornication marry and but a woman similarly guilty, or an Unbeliever: nor let any but such a man or an Unbeliever marry such a woman: to the Believers such a thing is forbidden.  (The Noble Quran, 24:3)"

"Those who invoke not, with God, any other god, nor slay such life as God has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment.  (The Noble Quran, 25:68)"

"Those who invoke not, with God, any other god, nor slay such life as God has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment. (But) the Penalty on the Day of Judgment will be doubled to him, and he will dwell therein in ignominy,- Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for God will change the evil of such persons into good, and God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful,  (The Noble Quran, 25:68-70)"

8-   "Thou shalt not steal.  (From the KJV Bible, Exodus 20:15)"

"As to the thief, Male or female, cut off his or her hands: a punishment by way of example, from God, for their crime: and God is Exalted in power. But if the thief repents after his crime, and amends his conduct, God turneth to him in forgiveness; for God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.  (The Noble Quran, 5:38-39)"

9-   "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.  (From the KJV Bible, Exodus 20:16)"

"O ye who believe! Stand out firmly For justice, as witnesses To Allah, even as against Yourselves, or your parents, Or your kin, and whether It be (against) rich or poor: For Allah can best protect both. Follow not the lusts (Of your hearts), lest ye Swerve, and if ye Distort (justice) or decline To do justice, verily Allah is well-acquainted With all that ye do.  (The Noble Quran, 4:135)"

"O ye who believe! Stand out firmly For Allah, as witnesses To fair dealing, and let not The hatred of others To you make you swerve To wrong and depart from Justice. Be just: that is Next to Piety: and fear Allah. For Allah is well-acquainted With all that ye do.  (The Noble Quran, 5:8)"

"But if anyone earns A fault or a sin And throws it on to one That is innocent, He carries (on himself) (Both) a falsehood And a flagrant sin.  (The Noble Quran, 4:112)"

"Allah commands justice, the doing Of good, and liberality to kith And kin, and He forbids All shameful deeds, and injustice And rebellion: He instructs you, That ye may receive admonition.   (The Noble Quran, 16:90)"

"...Help ye one another In righteousness and piety, But help ye not one another In sin and rancour: Fear Allah: for Allah Is strict in punishment.  (The Noble Quran, 5:2)"

"If ye are on a journey, and cannot find a scribe, a pledge with possession (may serve the purpose). And if one of you deposits a thing on trust with another, Let the trustee (Faithfully) discharge His trust, and let him fear his Lord. Conceal not evidence; for whoever conceals it,- His heart is tainted with sin. And God Knoweth all that ye do.  (The Noble Quran, 2:283)"

10-   "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.  (From the KJV Bible, Exodus 20:17)"

"Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: And God is well acquainted with all that they do.  (The Noble Quran, 24:30)"

"And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only that which is apparent, and to draw their veils over their bosoms, and not to reveal their adornment save to their own husbands or fathers or husbands' fathers, or their sons or their husbands' sons, or their brothers or their brothers' sons or sisters' sons, or their women, or their slaves, or male attendants who lack vigour, or children who know naught of women's nakedness. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And turn unto Allah together, O believers, in order that ye may succeed.   (The Noble Quran, 24:31)"

    In the Middle East:

In the Middle Eastern culture, if my sister's girl friend(s) enter the house, then I am obligated to get out, or lock myself quietly in my room, until they leave!

Also, if a woman enters the house without her man, then either all men must leave the house, or get locked in their rooms, except for the young male children.

Ask the Arab-Christians if you think I am exaggerating!

Notice "...that will make for greater purity for them..."   This is what Allah Almighty Wants in order for Muslims to keep a Pure Society.  Definitely no covets and no sexual arousings.

    The Western Societies:

In the non-Muslim Christian Western societies, coveting is extremely high because their entire life style that they adopted promotes sexual sinning.  Their women expose 99% of their bodies by wearing bikinis in beaches, the night clubs, pornography, immoral relationships with boyfriends and girlfriends, etc... all breed nothing but immoral and sinful societies.

    More Noble Verses on covet:

"And do not covet that by which Allah has made some of you excel others; men shall have the benefit of what they earn and women shall have the benefit of what they earn; and ask Allah of His grace; surely Allah knows all things.  (The Noble Quran, 4:32)"

"Cast not thine eyes on the [good things] which we have bestowed on several of [the unbelievers, so as to covet the same; neither be thou grieved on their account. Behave thy self with meekness towards the true believers;  (The Noble Quran, 15:88)"

"Nor strain thine eyes in longing for the things We have given for enjoyment to parties of them, the splendour of the life of this world, through which We test them: but the provision of thy Lord is better and more enduring.  (The Noble Quran, 20:131)"

"And serve Allah and do not associate any thing with Him and be good to the parents and to the near of kin and the orphans and the needy and the neighbor of (your) kin and the alien neighbor, and the companion in a journey and the wayfarer and those whom your right hands possess; surely Allah does not love him who is proud, boastful;  (The Noble Quran, 4:36)"
