Rebuttal to Jochen Katz' 2 Samuel 1:2-16 about justifying David's selective murders:

In my article about King David selectively killing innocent people, Jochen Katz of "Answering Islam" team raised some verses in a hope to refute my points.

Important Note:  Without cheap shots or exaggerations, but this article will further expose Jochen Katz' ridiculous bias and cover-ups to the Bible's unjust murders that are listed in great details at the end of this article.  You will clearly see why he is a LIAR below.  YOU BE THE UNBIASED JUDGE BETWEEN US!

Just a quick note for Mr. Katz about him relying on the foul-mouthed (he is fond on using the f*** word) piece of trash:  I don't read most of his emails nor do I pay much attention to him.  His emails get deleted as if they were porn or junk emails.  Yes, I used to include him in my mass-emails as I include all of my enemies, but I don't have any regard to him nor to his hopeless "rebuttals."  He had been badly exposed in the link above, and I exposed his profane manners to the public, which literally wiped the floor with him in front of everyone and completely sealed his fate on the internet.   Without pride, but I am glad that I was that one who sealed his big and trash mouth and saved everyone from his herrasements.

Anyway, here are my initial verses that talked about King David's selective murders to innocent people:

2 Samuel 4

Ish-Bosheth Murdered

1 When Ish-Bosheth son of Saul heard that Abner had died in Hebron, he lost courage, and all Israel became alarmed.
2 Now Saul's son had two men who were leaders of raiding bands. One was named Baanah and the other Recab; they were sons of Rimmon the Beerothite from the tribe of Benjamin-Beeroth is considered part of Benjamin,
3 because the people of Beeroth fled to Gittaim and have lived there as aliens to this day.
4 (Jonathan son of Saul had a son who was lame in both feet. He was five years old when the news about Saul and Jonathan came from Jezreel. His nurse picked him up and fled, but as she hurried to leave, he fell and became crippled. His name was Mephibosheth.)
5 Now Recab and Baanah, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, set out for the house of Ish-Bosheth, and they arrived there in the heat of the day while he was taking his noonday rest.
6 They went into the inner part of the house as if to get some wheat, and they stabbed him in the stomach. Then Recab and his brother Baanah slipped away.
7 They had gone into the house while he was lying on the bed in his bedroom. After they stabbed and killed him, they cut off his head. Taking it with them, they traveled all night by way of the Arabah.
8 They brought the head of Ish-Bosheth to David at Hebron and said to the king, "Here is the head of Ish-Bosheth son of Saul, your enemy, who tried to take your life. This day the LORD has avenged my lord the king against Saul and his offspring."
9 David answered Recab and his brother Baanah, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, "As surely as the LORD lives, who has delivered me out of all trouble,
10 when a man told me, 'Saul is dead,' and thought he was bringing good news, I seized him and put him to death in Ziklag. That was the reward I gave him for his news!
11 How much more-when wicked men have killed an innocent man in his own house and on his own bed-should I not now demand his blood from your hand and rid the earth of you!"
12 So David gave an order to his men, and they killed them. They cut off their hands and feet and hung the bodies by the pool in Hebron. But they took the head of Ish-Bosheth and buried it in Abner's tomb at Hebron.

As you can clearly see, King David in 2 Samuel 4:10 appears to be quite an arrogant person who selectively kills innocent people as he wishes.   Now let us look at Mr. Katz' verses that supposedly refute 2 Samuel 4:10 above:

2 Samuel 1
2 On the third day a man arrived from Saul's camp, with his clothes torn and with dust on his head. When he came to David, he fell to the ground to pay him honor.
3 "Where have you come from?" David asked him. He answered, "I have escaped from the Israelite camp."
4 "What happened?" David asked. "Tell me." He said, "The men fled from the battle. Many of them fell and died. And Saul and his son Jonathan are dead."
5 Then David said to the young man who brought him the report, "How do you know that Saul and his son Jonathan are dead?"
6 "I happened to be on Mount Gilboa," the young man said, "and there was Saul, leaning on his spear, with the chariots and riders almost upon him.
7 When he turned around and saw me, he called out to me, and I said, 'What can I do?'
8 "He asked me, 'Who are you?' " 'An Amalekite,' I answered.
9 "Then he (Saul) said to me, 'Stand over me and kill me! I am in the throes of death, but I'm still alive.'
10 "So I stood over him and killed him, because I knew that after he had fallen he could not survive. And I took the crown that was on his head and the band on his arm and have brought them here to my lord."
11 Then David and all the men with him took hold of their clothes and tore them.
12 They mourned and wept and fasted till evening for Saul and his son Jonathan, and for the army of the LORD and the house of Israel, because they had fallen by the sword.
13 David said to the young man who brought him the report, "Where are you from?" "I am the son of an alien, an Amalekite," he answered.
14 David asked him, "Why were you not afraid to lift your hand to destroy the LORD's anointed?"
15 Then David called one of his men and said, "Go, strike him down!" So he struck him down, and he died.
16 For David had said to him, "Your blood be on your own head. Your own mouth testified against you when you said, 'I killed the LORD's anointed.' "

Before we continue, it is important to know that David and Saul had animosity with each others and they were going after each others.  Later on, they reconciled and became friends again. 

Read the entire chapter of 1 Samuel 24.

It is beyond question that David's army or entire tribe did not know about the reconciliation between him and Saul.  This is quite apparent in the ignorance of David's men in 2 Samuel 4:10,12 and 2 Samuel 1:9,10,15 above.

The men saw no problem in killing Saul and his son.  Not only that, but they even rushed to give David the "GOOD NEWS"!!

So what did David do to them?  Instead of being just and forgiving the ignorant soldiers for their unintentional "crime", because as far as they were concerned, THEY WERE DOING THEIR JOBS AS LOYAL SOLDIERS TO DAVID, who he himself was an enemy to Saul in the past, for they knew NOT, he decided to annihilate them in the most brutal way!!  He maimed their bodies and killed them.  He also hung their bodies after he cut their hands and feet!  It is not even clear from the text above whether they were hanged alive or dead.  It is quite possible that they were hung alive after their hands and feet were all cut off.

Since David's animosity to Saul was the REAL reason for Saul and his son's death, did David kill himself also as a punishment?

No!!   Instead, he killed the IGNORANT soldiers who only did their job!!

Also, as clearly shown in 2 Samuel 4:10 above, David seemed to have quite an arrogant attitude to a level where he would kill if his "feelings" were violated!   Let's read the verse again:

2 Samuel 4:10
when a man told me, 'Saul is dead,' and thought he was bringing good news, I seized him and put him to death in Ziklag. That was the reward I gave him for his news!

That was the reward he gave him for his good news??  Is this how you speak about dead people?  Remember that this is the Bible we're talking about here and not a book that its pages are supposed to be toilet papers!!  I don't see the Wisdom in the great arrogance and injustice that David played in the above scenarios.

You, the Jewish or Christian reader, can be as biased and ridiculous as you want, but the Truth is the Truth!

The Truth here is that David used brutal maiming and killing to innocent, loyal and most importantly IGNORANT soldiers of his!!  Yes, Mr. Katz still insists on defending this ridiculous injustice from his Bible.  This is clearly and indisputably making Jochen Katz himself a preposterous liar because he knows better.  He also had been soundly exposed at: [1] [2].  Not only that, but he still refuses to accept the below list of Pedophilia, Murders and Terrorism from his Bible and insists on insulting Islam unjustly through the papers on his site that were written by him and the rest of his team of clowns. 

He's too arrogant to accept the Truth.  But that's no problem with me, because I will gladly continue to annihilate him and expose his preposterous lies and ridiculous bias to hopelessly cover-up the Bible's pedophilia, murders and terrorism, to the public.  Anyway, here is the list:
